As far as 3D printers go, the value for money here is extraordinary. You will be amazed by the level of detail that can be found in the final prints. If you are considering starting 3D printing as a hobby, we would definitely recommend checking out this printer. The included software is rather basic, but it works well. And it is certainly a perfect starting point as it doesn’t over complicate things. Plus, if you’re a more experienced user, you can always use different software.

The Anycubic Photon S is bound to be a phenomenal success because it’s one of the first successful brand’s attempt to bring a technology that was never available to the small business, available to them. So if you have your own small business are tired of printing with FDM 3D printing and want desperately to improve your print quality, Anycubic Photon S is your go-to printer. The printer can also be used by academic institutions to teach their students about this new technology that promises to produce higher quality prints than FDM.

The AnyCubic Photon S is an incredible printer at an unbelievable price but the maintenance and cleaning between each print may be a turn off for some. There's no doubt that the AnyCubic Photon S is a cheap DLP printer, you can feel that in the build quality of the casing. But for your money, you get an incredible machine that is capable of outputting excellent quality prints. Many of the features that come to expect from this type of machine are absent. Most noticeably any kind of mechanism to stir the resin to ensure that nothing is sticking or floating where it shouldn't be. This means that you do have to be hyper-vigilant with the handling and condition of the resin.

The Anycubic Photon S is an amazing SLA printer that provides excellent prints with a few minor annoyances. For the price, however, I highly recommend this machine. It features several minor improvements over the previous Photon and is very beginner-friendly, taking only minutes to get your first print going. The Photon S is a great choice for new users, but the improvements over the original Photon probably aren't large enough for existing Photon owners to make the switch.

The Anycubic Photon S is a solid resin printer that made some phenomenal printed models in our tests but you definitely have to work for them. Like most resin printers, there is a lot more effort involved for the actual printing process but the prints are leaps and bounds more detailed and higher quality when it comes to appearance than FFF machines.
