Product Overview

BCN3D Epsilon W50 Specification

Overview

There's a Bowden Bondtech dual drive gears extruder inside.

This Bowden extruder means that the extruder is mounted on the frame of the actual printer rather than the tip. The filament then travels through a PTFE tube to reach the hot end, and out onto the print.

Extruder Type
Bowden Bondtech dual drive gears
Performance

The usable filament diameter is a 2.85 mm diameter.

There are 2 extruders in the printer. Having more than one extruder attached to the printer can help you print material faster, as the printer can focus on multiple elements at once.

You'll get a 420 mm x 300 mm x 400 mm in the BCN3D Epsilon W50, so make sure everything you want to print fits in this. You can make do by making your print in pieces, and then assembling, however, sometimes you'll just need a larger build area.

Overall BCN3D Epsilon W50 SC can be employed to make parts and functional prototypes that can be used in critical industries for applications that demand dimensional accuracies. The printer does have some downside, by being expensive, and enclosed bodied printer, post-processing on which gets a bit difficult. But, printing with five modes is too lucrative to be ditched for the above-mentioned difficulties.
